Great Shot

"I love the way the sky has a blue tint at first light. My plan was to be set up with a tripod around 6 a.m. to shoot a picture of the hotel. What I wasn't counting on was the 60-mph wind and sideways rain that morning that was blowing me and my tripod over. Plan B was to drive my car into a position to protect me and the camera from the weather. The 10-second exposure worked out well as the sheets of rain seem to disappear and the moving water was just a pleasant blur. Bracing the camera so it wouldn't move was the key to keeping the inn and the bridge sharp."
